Finagle-A-Bagel
Finagle a Bagel bagels are premium 4 oz bagels, hand-seeded, hand-boiled and hand-baked at our Headquarters in Newton, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. Our bagel recipe is all-natural, without chemical dough conditioners and preservatives such as L-cystine and DATEM (check those other bagels you’re eating!) We use high gluten wheat flour from North Dakota without fillers. Our bagel recipes call for only whole fruit, (never raisin bits or pieces of blueberries) and high-quality ingredients such as liquid malt, fresh yeast, real veggies or whole eggs. The Finagle a Bagel bagels that you are buying at the grocery stores are the exact same recipe and method of boiling and baking as you find in our Boston-area retail locations.
We bake all our bagels on burlap sticks in rotary ovens. They are hand-flipped onto the oven stones and finished to golden brown perfection. We then flash freeze them, so that when thawed, they are as fresh and delicious as when they come out of our ovens. At home, you can thaw and eat, toast, or warm our bagels in a 350 degree oven. There is no better bagel in the world.
